The 5 lever mechanism provides significantly stronger security than 2 or 3 lever locks, with greater resistance to picking and manipulation. The 14mm deadbolt throw features hardened steel pins that protect against sawing attack. The deadbolt is operated by key from both sides of the door, providing secure locking and unlocking from inside and outside. Direct replacement for Chubb 3G115 locks with 40mm backset: The Union 3G115 is identical to the original Chubb 3G115 and fits as an exact replacement in the same door cutout without modification. The 67mm (2.5 inch) case width and 40mm backset (edge of door to keyhole centre) are specific to the Chubb 3G / Union C-Series range.
