Description

Arc Fire Cement is suitable for domestic and commercial applications on fire bricks, fire grates, flue pipes, flue bricks, boilers and other areas subject to extreme heat. It offers excellent adhesion to fire bricks, blockwork, stone and clayware. Before use, remove all dirt, dust and other contaminants and make sure the area is thoroughly clean. Dampen the surfaces to improve adhesion. Apply the cement straight from the tub without mixing, using a trowel. Ensure the cement is pressed well into any cracks or gaps. After applying, light a fire or apply heat, gradually increasing the heat over a 4 hour period. After curing, any fine cracks that appear in the cement should be filled with Fire Cement to ensure a smoke-tight finish. Clean tools with warm water and soap immediately after use.
