Description

Neat compact plants bearing a prolific crop of medium hot green chillies that turn red. They grow to 45cm tall. This patio type plant has won the RHS Award of Garden Merit and has a rating of 70,000-80,000 SHU. It's best to sow the seeds in a propagator on a windowsill or in pots or trays in a greenhouse at around 18-21°C for culture in a greenhouse or sheltered position outdoors. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle singly into 75mm pots, grow on carefully and finally transplant into 25cm pots or grow bags. Water and feed regularly with a proprietary fertiliser. Grow on a windowsill, patio or in a greenhouse. Sowing to cropping takes around 20-22 weeks.
