Sutton Seeds California Wonder Sweet Pepper Seeds for Greenhouse or Outdoor Growing
Description
Sutton Seeds Sweet Pepper California Wonder is a variety that produces fruits in abundance. It's best grown under glass, but can be transplanted outdoors in June in warm, sheltered areas. For greenhouse culture, sow seeds in February-April at 18-21°C (65-70°F). Alternatively, sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at the same temperature, using a good quality compost. Cover the seeds with 6mm (1/4") sieved compost. Germination takes 10-21 days. Transplant seedlings singly into 75mm (3") pots, and finally into large pots, grow bags or greenhouse border, allowing 45cm (18") between plants. In warmer districts, transplant outdoors after the frost risk has passed. Support plants with canes and string as the fruit develops, and feed regularly with a proprietary fertiliser.
