Description

The slight elasticity in connection with tear-resistant thread reinforcement makes the Gerband 586 Airtight Tape universally suitable for achieving airtightness as well as sealing many types of surfaces. The PET reinforcement helps prevent over-expansion of the adhesive tape, and it has a very aggressive adhesive that sticks at extremely low temperatures, conforming to DIN 4108-7. This airtight tape can be used indoors for the airtight bonding of wind and vapour barriers, and it is suitable for non-visible areas of building components, as well as impact-resistant plastics, wood, or metal. It is available in various sizes, from 50-150mm.
