The Zinisser Bin Primer is a high-adhesion shellac formula that seals porous surfaces with excellent enamel holdout. It effectively covers bleeding knots and sap streaks, and works well on water stains, fungal degradation, nicotine, oil stains, and marker pen stains. This primer permanently blocks a wide range of odours, including those from smoke and fire damage, pets, and nicotine. Its dried film is non-toxic and hypoallergenic, making it suitable for use in areas where incidental contact with food items may occur. The primer is perfect for interior ceilings, walls, doors, and related paintable surfaces, as well as spot priming on exterior metal, trims, PVC, and wood. It dries in just 15 minutes and is recoatable in 45 minutes.
