The stainless steel body does not sweat on the outside, so no rings on your desk or damp bags on the commute. BioCote antimicrobial lid: The lid is made from plastic infused with BioCote, an antimicrobial additive built in during manufacturing that reduces microbes on drinking surfaces by up to 99.99%. It also helps resist surface staining, bad odours, and material degradation over time. Secure twist-close mechanism: The Series 2 lid uses an innovative twist mechanism that creates a tight seal for everyday on-the-go use. Do not close the drinking hole with liquids above 60°C, and do not fill with liquids over 90°C. Soft silicone base for quiet put-downs: A rubber silicone base is fitted to the underside of the cup to prevent slipping on smooth surfaces and to absorb sound when placing the cup down.
